Amazing system in an easy, compatible and elegant format. The heart of the system is a 10 x 12 cm small rital control box. Due to the small format it can simply be placed everywhere. The MZU control is easy to install and can immediately be used thanks to the preinstalled software. All you need is a TCP / IP and a 230 V connection. The access and configuration take place via the existing network or can optionally go with an external laptop. Cameras, long-range readers or RFID readers also work over the network – or wirelessly. Functions: Allow / block, time zones, groups, calendar, expiry date, anti-passback, remote opening, logging, parking lot counter, weekly timer and many more opportunities.

The success of the system lies within the simple operation: the server-based application is self-explanatory without any additional software. All end devices can access the MZU control via the network. Diverse settings can be made in a matter of seconds (user rights, time models, changes to admission restrictions, etc.). The well-arranged dashboard enables an immediate implementation of access controls and barrier operations. The user-friendly interface offers simple programming where every desired process for your individual request is successful.

Little effort – big outcome: The aim is to eliminate the effort of installation by providing a self-contained system. Whether license plate recognition, long-range reader or RFID reader – the MZU control offers an organization for everything. Without prolonged software installation, the system is quickly available as a finished application. Through the camera data will be recorded and organized in a network. This data can directly be transmitted to be checked and read at any time and place via the web browser.

Camera
Access detection

Are you looking for a license plate recognition – a system without the need of RFID cards? Our MZU is the optimal solution. The system’s special camera is designed to recognize license plates in order to manage the entry and exit of vehicles over the dashboard. Several cameras can be connected and adjusted to the environment of installation to serve the best reading condition of the camera. It is recommended to install the camera with a mast to avoid distracting cables and diverse foundations. Additionally, no trigger signal is necessary.

Tattile ANPR

Die Tattile Kamera Vega Basic wurde speziell für den Einsatz zur Erkennung von Kennzeichen entwickelt. Zwei integrierte Relaisausgänge sowie die Möglichkeit von POE erleichtern die Installation.

Die OCR-Erkennung erfolgt in der Kamera. Mittels verschiedener Objektive lassen sich unterschiedliche Leseentfernungen abdecken. Die integrierten Infared-LEDs sorgen darüber hinaus für eine optimale Erkennung bei Nacht.

One cabinet, two cameras

This example simply shows a track with a barrier. The entry and exit is checked via the license plate recognition. In this diagram, the two cameras are mounted on a free-standing mast. The time when a vehicle approaches the cameras recognize the number plate. When the license plate is approved, the barrier opens automatically. A contact loop is no longer necessary for this application. A safety loop guarantees a smooth passage through the barrier.

Access detection

The long-range reader has a reading distance up to 10 m. It is aligned to recognize cards or labels on the windshield of the vehicles when entering and exiting. When a vehicle approaches the barrier automatically opens and so there is no longer a need to stop at a reading device. Just like the camera installation, it is recommended to mount the reader on a mast of the barrier to avoid unnecessary cables and foundations. Moreover, no trigger signal is necessary. On top, the UHF reader has an integrated traffic light which can be used as signal.

The latest generation of the long-range reader from Feig not only impresses with its current design. Function and assembly are well sophisticated leading to perfection: a range of up to 10 m and the connection of an external antenna guaranteeing that the RFID tag is read accurately. The integrated traffic light enables visualization of the approval of the RFID tag. Here, too, the system can be supplied via POU.

This example shows a track with a barrier. The entry is via the wide-range reader, upon exit the barrier opens automatically via the field of the UL sensor. The UL sensor also detects the other field under the barrier boom, which replaces the usual safety loop in the flooring. This eliminates the need to lay loops in the floor when using the UL sensor.

RFID
Access detection

RFID cards are widely used for the area of access detection. The MZU also covers this application. The card can be held to the reader by touch-and-go and the barrier is activated. The reader is installed in a pedestal (car / truck). The scheme remains the same: connect the opening pulse, network and power supply to the reader and the system is ready to go. Additional components such as an intercom can be installed in the pedestal.

The Mifare RFID reader has a network connection. The small design allows the reader to be built into existing columns. The POE option is also available here. Switching outputs for the gate or the barrier are directly done at the reader.

This example shows two lanes, each with a barrier. Mifare RFID readers enter and exit. No loop has been laid for the readers, so cards are also read when there is no car in front of the reader. To prevent this, a loop can be installed here. The RFID readers are built into a pedestal.

Administrative software that makes the heart beat faster: intuitive operation, browser-based access and the connection of various reading devices – the key for different needs in the area of ​​access control. The installation-free solution enables access from any end device, decentralized operation of the system as well as administration and maintenance from any location.

The system provides reading of various tags for long-range readers or RFID cards. This gives the opportunity to create calendars, groups and time zones. In addition, dates or time periods can be specified and activated or deactivated. An automatic approval process can also be set.

This enables the exact assignment of people or vehicles at any time. If there are several entrances, location-specific restrictions are also possible to install. The MZU is able to register several personal vehicle registration numbers. An anti-passback can be activated in time or physically.

The gate and barrier can be controlled via the dashboard. All accesses can be logged and exported according to the settings. Different languages ​​are also available.

MZU
Hardware

The MZU is a controller developed in Germany with a TCP / IP connection. Various inputs and outputs are integrated on the board. An SD card slot enables the firmware to be updated easily. In order to guarantee the CE standard, the controller and the power supply are installed in a small Rital control box. This can be built directly into the barrier or placed anywhere in the building with a network connection. The outputs on the MZU can be used for a free / busy signal.
